In parallel

(back to posts)

Life is a series of projects. We're all project managers.

  • A bad project manager switches contexts all the time and gets little actual work done.
  • A good project manager works on the most important item at any given time.
  • A great project manager drives five critical tasks in parallel.

Because most of us are bad project managers, multi-tasking has a bad reputation. This makes great project managers feel conflicted about doing things in parallel.
